I thought that this story was really inspirational. Its amazing that for 42 years this tradition of "Picking Up Butch" has become a normal thing. Since Butch was never able to be a part of a team like this, the way they involve him in the games and help him allows him to feel the sense of camaraderie that one feels as a team member. I can't think of any traditions in our school that involve so many students. However, the soup for the soul event is my favorite interact project, and for the two years that I have been in this school I have been on the committee and worked at the event. My friends and I made soup both years and hope to continue our "tradition" until we graduate.

I agree that I can't really think of any traditions at our school that involve so many students. But, Interact events are great community events and ones like Soup4TheSoul that run annually are great ways to include a lot of the community. With due time they may become tradition too
