I had some thoughts on the outcome of these two things. The field trip was ok. The cove or just picking up trash was not the most fun way to help someone out. Maybe if we explored the trail more, it would have been cooler. I do understand that we were on a fixed schedule so our options were limited. That also includes going on a rain day. However, we helped clean up and thats what counts.
The bake sale could have been done differently. But first, my thought on the penny drive was that it was not necessary. Sure it is a good way to collect money, but not for two days. The bake sale was nice however i thought we could have just focused on selling at the main entrance in the morning and afternoon for three days. I think food was wasted due to our other locations.
